EasyScan is an acquisition interface for flatbed scanner using Twain standard interface capabilities from scanners drivers. So it allows to use all Twain version 1.6 or higher compatible scanners (mostof flatbed scanners are). His goal is to standardize the using of scanners which interfaces are all different, and above all to promote a powerfulinterface with multiple possibilities. This software allows to scan in 256colors, 16 colors... functions not allowed with some scanners, to flip theimage, to rotate the image, to select one RGB channel... It can also storemany images in order to print them once (very useful for sending FAX withmultiple pages).

Note: Whatever your scanner works fine with EasyScan or not, it is great for us to know the specifications and the behavior of your scanner. Your can send the properties of your scanner with the Source properties command in the File menu. Don't forget to tell the name of your scanner and its behavior in the generated mail.

For the translation, it is adviced to use a software like Kompozer, and translate replacing terms of the original language, in order to keep the file structure. Orasi is a software for visually impaired people but not blind people. The software has been tested and developed for a visual acuity of at least 1/20th. The purpose of the software is to use most of the phone functions without assistance.
