On my previous built, i had to install the legacy driver for it to work properly and it did for like 9 years. So i downloaded said drivers and tried to install them. I followed two procedures, first the regular one through device manager, update driver, search on my computer etc. Printer, and scanner peripherals are provided in Windows 2000. Other class drivers, provided by peripheral manufacturers, may be added to support new devices. Tape device support is built into the operating system itself and does not require a class driver. Microsoft provides the port driver and LSI Logic provides the miniport drivers.

Thanks for sharing the links to the drivers. Just wanted to know are there any known issues with these drivers. And from the OS, the LSI SAS Controller model shows as below, do you think these drivers are compatible to this model. LSI Adapter, SAS 3000 Series, 8-port with 1068 -StorPort. The OS version is Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise, SP1.
